Thanks to the support of people like you Misa has been rescued.

We recently wrote to you about Misa, a bear being kept as a pet. Early this morning, our team arrived in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, to free Misa from her cage. We prepared Misa for travel and performed a quick vet check, removing the growths around her eyes and assessing her overall health; fortunately, she's in good shape for a caged bear.
Misa and our team are now traveling to our bear sanctuary in north Vietnam and should arrive within the next few days. Look out for another update shortly.

You make rescues like this possible.
Will you please donate today? Your support could help more bears like Misa and help other animals in need around the world.

Another year, another rescue.
Misa is currently being kept as a family pet in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Trapped and isolated in a small cage for thirteen years, Misa urgently needs veterinary care to treat growths covering her face – likely skin tumours.

With your help today, we could give Misa a home at our bear sanctuary in Vietnam. Here Misa will receive the veterinary care she desperately needs, proper enrichment and the opportunity to play and explore.

This is your chance to rescue Misa and give her the life she deserves. Will you help?

We want to rescue Misa as soon as possible. But we can’t do it alone.

Ho Chi Minh City is located nearly 1,000 miles from our bear sanctuary in North Vietnam, presenting a logistic and costly challenge. To rescue Misa, our team would have to travel cross-country – roughly eight days there and back. This is why we're asking for your support.

Our rescue team is ready to act, but we need your support. Please donate today. Your gift could give Misa a better life and help other animals in need around the world.
