As a stray, Smudge will live her entire life on the streets – at risk from hunger, disease and injury. She is one of thousands of dogs trapped in a vicious cycle, born to suffer on the streets. And unless we put a stop to it, countless others will follow her fate.

That’s why we’ve set up a new Stray Animal Care project in Thailand on the island of Koh Chang – where we plan to neuter up to 300 dogs.

This is an urgent and necessary mission and to have a chance of success, we need your support.

The number of dogs suffering on the streets of Koh Chang is out of control. There are simply too many dogs, and not enough people to take care of them. As long as puppies continue to be born on this Thai island, many will suffer.

By taking action today we can start to significantly lower the street dog population and help create a world where fewer dogs suffer.

Every donation could help to neuter one more dog, and ensure fewer dogs are born on the streets of Koh Chang.

We will set up temporary veterinary clinics stationed in Buddhist temples, where our veterinary team, working with the local Thai vet, will work tirelessly not only to neuter animals, but to vaccinate them and treat their wounds and diseases

At the same time, our team is running community outreach and education events on the island to teach the local community and school children how to care for street dogs and encourage more responsible pet ownership  – to reduce the likelihood of dogs being abandoned on the streets. So, not only will we decrease the street dog population over time, we’ll also make life better for every dog still living on the streets.

I hope we can count on your support today. Thank you.
