Join us on Saturday 30 April as we march to Downing Street to say STOP LION TROPHY HUNTING!

The march is calling for an end to lion trophy imports into the UK, and we need as many people as possible. Bring your friends. Bring your family. Bring your family’s friends.

We’ll meet at 12:00pm in Cavendish Square, London and start marching at 12:30pm towards Downing Street, where a delegation will hand a joint letter to the Prime Minister at 1:15pm.

The route will be:

Cavendish Square, Oxford Street, Regent Street, Piccadilly Circus, Leicester Square, around Trafalgar Square, down Whitehall and arriving opposite Downing Street.

We’ll be joined by LionAid, Born Free Foundation, IFAW, One Protest and the Save Me Trust.

Placards will be available on site, but feel free to make your own in advance. And if you’re feeling extra bold, dressing up as a lion is always welcome!

There will be speeches outside Downing Street by:

  • Virginia McKenna - Born Free
  • Jean Lambert - Green MEP
  • James Cosmo - Actor
  • Pieter Kat - Lion Aid

We want as many people as possible to attend!

Tell us you'll be there!

We're also looking for volunteer stewards, so please email us if you're interested or if you would like more information.

We can't wait to see you there!
