Rescue suffering animals like Rocky

© FOUR PAWS

FOUR PAWS Rapid Response Team have been contacted to rescue, treat and relocate a severely injured baiting bear in Pakistan.

Shocking video footage showed the bear, who we have named Rocky, being attacked by a dog. Too weak to defend himself, Rocky was bleeding from his eyes, nose and ears, he had severe wounds on his back. He was shaking and clearly in shock.

Please help give this poor bear and others like him another chance in life. Together, we can show Rocky that there is a life without such immense suffering.

  • £10 could help provide emergency transport for a rescue mission.
  • £15 could help provide the medication a bear needs during a rescue.

The cruel exploitation of bears for human entertainment

Bear baiting remains a distressing reality where bears are subjected to cruel fights against trained dogs for entertainment, despite being illegal.

It inflicts severe physical and psychological trauma on the bears, often resulting in broken teeth, pierced snouts, and the removal of claws.

The team has named this bear "Rocky" in acknowledgement of his resilience, having survived 35 fights.

Please help Rocky and bears like him by donating whatever you can today.
