Big cats living in illegal private keeping need help!
Can you help FOUR PAWS rescue and protect animals like Mero?
When the authorities in the Czech Republic discovered Mero, a ten-month-old lion cub earlier this year, he was being kept illegally by a private individual. Mero was kept alone, without the appropriate care a young lion cub needs and deserves.
Fortunately, the authorities intervened and confiscated Mero.
Lion cubs kept illegally, are often torn from their mothers prematurely, deprived of proper nutrition, veterinary care, species-appropriate enrichment, and interaction with other lions. Without space to roam and the chance to express natural behaviours, these cruel conditions can leave young wild animals with lifelong trauma, both physical and emotional.
Your help today could help FOUR PAWS be there for animals like Mero, could you help?
Your gift today could help:
