Not only do chickens suffer in unimaginable conditions during their short lives, but these intensive farms are also hotspots for zoonotic disease outbreaks and contribute significantly to greenhouse gas emissions, contributing to climate change.   

This poultry farm would be a huge step backwards for animal welfare, encouraging more farms like it to be built across the country, undermining decades of work by animal welfare organisations.  

We must move away from intensive agricultural systems, and instead transition to sustainable, nature-friendly farming solutions that prioritise animal welfare and climate mitigation. 

Please ask Telford & Wrekin Council to reject this proposal and prevent millions of chickens from suffering needlessly.
