We need your MP at our event

In March, we’re hosting a Parliamentary reception to celebrate the Government’s new Animal Welfare Strategy – and we need your MP to be there.

Alongside Ruth Jones MP and in partnership with the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, this event is a vital moment to look ahead at how the ambitious proposals laid out in the strategy can be delivered to create real, lasting change for animals.

Please email your MP today to ask them to attend.

Published at the end of last year, the Animal Welfare Strategy is one of the most comprehensive and forward-looking plans on animal protection that the UK has ever seen. Covering companion animals, wildlife and farmed animals, it sets out ambition for a generational shift toward stronger, more compassionate standards in animal welfare.

Not only does the strategy emphasise the need for animals to have a “good life”, but it also commits to ending puppy farming, banning trail hunting, phasing out colony cages for hens, and so much more.

Together we have a real opportunity to ensure the Government delivers the meaningful, lasting change it promises for animals.

Invite your MP to our event now and help secure a kinder future for animals.
