Cecil’s death made the world roar. We must never forget!

Join us in London on Saturday 30th July as we hold a vigil in memory of Cecil and the many other lions killed for trophy hunting.

Together with LionAid, Born Free, IFAW, Save Me Trust, and One Protest we will commemorate the first anniversary of Cecil the Lion’s death at Old Palace Yard in Westminster - the paved open space between the Palace of Westminster to its north and east and Westminster Abbey to its west.

Anticipate moving speeches and music as we remember the many lions killed for trophy hunting and continue to pressure the UK Government to ban the import of trophies.

Candles aren’t permitted in the Old Palace Yard, so please bring a torch instead. We’ll have a few on hand, but supplies are limited. We’ll also have a few posters, but feel free to make your own! And please bring water to stay hydrated.
